Defne INCEKARA

Defne İncekara excelled at Bornova Anadolu High School and later earned a place at İzmir Science High School with distinction. She completed her education at Koç University on a scholarship. Over her 25-year corporate career, Defne held significant managerial roles in consulting, strategy, and business development at global technology giants such as Andersen, PwC, Vodafone, IBM, and Ericsson. Her rapid rise was shaped by goals and achievements, but over time, she began a deeper search for meaning in her life.

The question, “What do I truly want?” marked the beginning of her journey to step out of her comfort zone and rediscover herself. Realizing that a success-driven life had sidelined her true desires and emotions, Defne embarked on a transformative process. Another pivotal question, “What makes me happy?” became the catalyst for reshaping her life.

She discovered that her greatest joy in corporate life came from mentoring and coaching her teams and witnessing their successes. Making a positive impact on people's lives became her deepest source of motivation. Particularly, understanding the unique dynamics of the new generation, guiding them, and learning from them formed the core of her passion. This quest led her to JS International and John C. Maxwell's coaching and leadership programs.

Today, Defne İncekara works in the corporate sphere as an Executive and Leadership Coach certified by JS International and John C. Maxwell, accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She is also a Trainer, Training Designer, JS International-certified NLP, Hypnosis, and Time Line Therapy Practitioner, Master Mind Educator, DISC Behavioral Analysis Consultant, and Motivational Speaker.

Additionally, as a certified “AI Train-the-Trainer” from Vjal Institute, İncekara supports organizations in AI literacy and applied AI training.

On an individual level, İncekara has made it her mission to empower young people to progress and become unstoppable. She conducts “Values-Based Leadership” workshops, approved by the Maxwell Leadership Academy, to foster essential life skills such as responsibility, fairness, collaboration, and self-discipline, while supporting their development in leadership, communication, confidence, and emotional management.
