About
She completed her undergraduate studies at Istanbul University, Faculty of Letters, earned her master’s degree at the same university’s Institute of Social Sciences, and obtained her PhD in Educational Administration and Supervision from Okan University. Learning and development have been her strongest passion. After working as an academic and teacher at various educational institutions, she founded “İz Coaching Training and Consultancy” in 2009 to support young people in preparing for the future with confidence.
Holding the PCC credential from ICF, Henden delivered Türkiye’s first ICF-approved “Education and Student Coaching” program in 2009 and launched the “ADHD Coaching” program in 2010. She continues to provide individual coaching, with a particular focus on young people aged 13 to 33 and neurodivergent learners, while also delivering ICF-approved certificate programs and pursuing academic research on microaggressions. Her aim is to create “an inclusive world with self-confident young people and parents who set them free.” To achieve this, she invests both academically and personally in helping all social identities around young people develop coaching skills.
With more than 10,000 hours of individual coaching experience, particularly in career coaching, as well as extensive experience as a trainer, Henden currently teaches “Diversity, Equity and Inclusion” and “Preparation for Working Life 101” at Acıbadem University.
