In today’s business world, where rapidly changing global, national, and industry dynamics converge with intensifying competition, individuals in managerial positions are expected not only to manage processes and demonstrate managerial skills, but also to develop a proactive leader-manager approach that will move the organization forward. This includes being visionary, strategic, inspiring, and motivating, unlocking the true potential of teams and employees, strengthening collaboration through negotiation skills, producing creative solutions to complex problems, and making effective, data-driven decisions.

The Leadership Development Program is a structured process designed and developed to enhance participants’ leadership competencies and skills within this framework.

MODULAR STRUCTURE AND IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PROGRAM

The Leadership Development Program consists of 5 Core Modules.
Each module includes:
•    A 2-day training focused on a core leadership competency
•    One-to-one Coaching Sessions  (Optional, Recommended) 
•    A Follow-up/Evaluation Session  (Optional, Recommended)

Through the core trainings included in the Program, participants develop the five most fundamental leadership competencies.After each module’s training, and throughout the period until the next module, participants begin transferring and applying the competency they acquired in the training to real-life situations, gaining hands-on experience.During this practice period, they address and resolve the challenges they encounter in applying the competency to real life through coaching sessions.A certain period before the next module, all participants come together for a half-day online follow-up session delivered in a group coaching format. In this session, they share their experiences and reflections on putting their newly acquired competencies into practice, and they build collective insights and solutions through a brainstorming approach.

WHY COACHING SESSIONS?

A participant’s ability to develop leadership competency is directly linked to transforming their current perspective and approach into a leadership mindset and leadership approach. For this reason, within the Program process, coaching support is effective and recommended in order to enable the desired transformation at the highest possible level by working with the participant’s established patterns and mindsets, grounded in the knowledge and learning provided through the trainings.

Through this coaching support, after each module, participants can use coaching sessions to explore and address the internal and external resistance, challenges, or barriers they may encounter when putting their module takeaways into practice, as well as the development areas that emerge when moving from intention to action and behavior.

WHY FOLLOW-UP AND EVALUATION SESSIONS?

These are experience-sharing and brainstorming sessions held sometime after each module, where participants come together to examine and evaluate, within a team coaching approach, the situations, challenges, experiences, outcomes, and impacts they encountered while transferring module gains into real-life practice. The sessions are guided by analytical questions such as “What happened?”, “What worked?”, “What did not work?”, “What did we encounter?”, and “What needs to be further developed?”, and participants collectively explore solution and development alternatives.

The core trainings of the Leadership Development Program are structured to equip participants with the five most fundamental leadership competencies.

All trainings within the Program are designed with a coaching approach, taking into account the principles of Cybernetics (Systems Science) and NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), with a focus on enabling participants to acquire the knowledge, skills, and methods required to translate the training topics into real-life practice by personally experiencing simulated exercises based on real-life situations, building awareness, and internalizing the learning.

 

Cybernetics is the discipline that examines the regulation and management of all complex systems, both living and non-living.

NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) is a methodology and approach consisting of practices and techniques that transform individuals’ negative, limiting beliefs, thoughts, and behaviors into positive, supportive beliefs, thoughts, and behaviors by initiating internal change through experience-based awareness.

LEADERSHIP AWARENESS TRAINING

THE PURPOSE OF TRAINING

Without awareness, no change, development, or transformation is possible. The primary objective of this training is to increase leaders’ self-awareness, enabling them to lead in a more conscious and effective manner. For this reason, it is structured as the first and foundational training of the program. Throughout the training, participants are supported in analyzing their own thought patterns, emotional responses, perception-formation mechanisms, and leadership styles, with the aim of reinforcing their strengths and discovering areas for development. Participants will learn how to practice self-reflection, assess interaction and perception accurately, and consciously direct their leadership style.

TRAINING OUTCOMES

•    Through this training, participants’ self-awareness will increase; they will learn how to practice self-reflection, evaluate interaction and perception formation accurately, and consciously direct their leadership styles.
•    By experiencing the impact of self-awareness, positive perception building, and perception management on leadership, they will have the opportunity to adopt a more conscious approach to team management and improve their communication skills with a higher level of perception awareness.
•    At the end of the training, leaders will become ready for the subsequent trainings and processes of the program as individuals who know themselves and their perception formation more deeply, can consciously regulate their perceptions, and possess the awareness to build and manage positive perception, with strong internal balance and an inspiring presence for their teams.

BASIC COACHING SKILLS TRAINING

THE PURPOSE OF TRAINING

Coaching Skills are now widely recognized worldwide as a fundamental leadership and management competency for leaders and managers in corporate settings. In today’s business environment, it is not sufficient for leaders to remain limited to directive and supervisory roles. Effective leaders are expected to possess core coaching skills, support the development of their employees, and help them maximize their potential.
The “Basic Coaching Skills Training” is structured around the “Core Coaching Skills and Competencies” principles of the ICF (International Coaching Federation, Uluslararası Koçluk Federasyonu). The main objective of the program is to provide participants with a coaching mindset and approach, enabling them to reflect this perspective in their communication across all areas of their lives, primarily in business.

TRAINING OUTCOMES

At the end of this two-day training, participants will gain a solid command of the concept and process of coaching and adopt a coaching mindset as leaders. By developing advanced active listening and powerful questioning skills, they will create awareness within their teams. They will learn an applicable, robust, and effective coaching model, become able to apply core coaching skills in practice, and use coaching tools in their professional lives. In addition, by understanding the structure of coaching conversations, they will acquire the capability to manage progress and accountability.
This training, blended with the awareness built in the first module, forms the foundation of the program’s subsequent Leader Communication module.

LEADER COMMUNICATION TRAINING

THE PURPOSE OF TRAINING

Effective communication is one of the cornerstones of successful leadership. For a leader to convey their vision to the team, inspire others, and build trust, strong communication skills are essential.
The objective of this training is to enhance leaders’ communication skills so that they can build a more effective connection with their teams and develop the capability to create and manage positive perception. Participants will explore the power of verbal and non-verbal communication, as well as the power of creating and managing perception; they will learn to manage feedback processes more effectively and practice adopting a clear, trust-building communication style even in times of crisis. Understanding different communication styles, learning perception formation and management, and developing strategies aligned with the needs of their teams are among the key goals of this training.

TRAINING OUTCOMES

At the end of this training, participants will gain a deeper understanding of the critical role of leader communication in perception formation and management, as well as in team motivation, trust, and collaboration.
During the training, they will have the opportunity to recognize different communication styles and analyze their own communication patterns. They will learn how to communicate effectively in difficult situations, during crises, and in conflicts; how to deliver the right messages; and how to maintain their teams’ trust. In feedback processes, supported by the coaching skills gained in the previous module, they will internalize how to apply a constructive and motivating approach. They will also discover how to adapt to different ways team members perceive information and how to manage the other party’s perception effectively in communication.
After this training, participants will become leaders who consciously manage communication processes, can use calm and effective language even under difficult and stressful conditions, can give and receive feedback effectively through a coaching approach, and can build trust and commitment within the team. They will develop strategic communication skills by learning how to manage their own perceptions and anticipating how the messages they deliver will be perceived by the team. In this way, they will be able to guide their teams more effectively by demonstrating both an inspiring and strong leadership presence.
The communication gains acquired in this training will form the foundation of the program’s subsequent module, “Building a Team, Becoming a Team, ‘Becoming Us’”.

BUILDING A TEAM, BECOMING A TEAM, “BECOMING US” TRAINING

THE PURPOSE OF TRAINING

The ability to build and develop a team plays a critical role in a leader’s success. A leader’s ability to guide the team to work in harmony is possible by creating a strong team. The team-building process creates an environment in which employees build trust with one another, focus on goals, and act together. This process increases not only individual performance but also collective success. When a leader possesses this capability, it creates synergy within the team, helps everyone feel valued, and fosters a highly motivated work environment.

The training aims to build participants’ awareness and practical capability in the dynamics of creating a sustainable, high-performing team, building team spirit and motivation, acting with a “we” perspective, and establishing effective, positive communication. The training is designed with a team coaching approach through simulations based on real-life situations. Participants learn and internalize the knowledge, skills, and methods that build and strengthen team and leader-team interactions by experiencing them, so they can apply them in practice.

TRAINING OUTCOMES

At the end of this two-day training, participants will learn team dynamics and understand the processes of building and managing high-performing teams. They will develop the capability to lead teams at different stages, effectively define and distribute roles within the team, establish an environment of collaboration and trust among team members, and increase the team’s motivation and commitment. By gaining the competence to apply team dynamics and communication strategies in real business scenarios, they will acquire the capability to build more productive, aligned, and motivated teams.

VISION, STRATEGIC THINKING AND STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT TRAINING

THE PURPOSE OF TRAINING

For a leader, vision, strategic thinking, and strategic management are vital. Vision serves as a guide that enables the leader and the team to reach long-term objectives. Strategic thinking strengthens the leader’s ability to adapt to change in a dynamic environment and anticipate opportunities. Strategic management ensures that these ideas are translated into actionable plans. When these three elements come together, they create a significant impact on both the leader’s performance and the organization’s success.
This training aims to enhance participants’ strategic thinking and management capabilities and enable them to develop effective strategies aligned with organizational vision and objectives. By addressing vision building, strategic thinking, and strategic management processes in detail, it allows participants to actively use these competencies in their professional lives.

TRAINING OUTCOMES

At the end of this two-day training, participants will gain the capability to create a strong vision and align it with strategic objectives. They will develop strategic thinking and analysis skills and identify organizational opportunities and threats through various strategy models. By applying strategic management processes, they will strengthen decision-making and governance capabilities and achieve objectives through resource planning and performance management. They will acquire the competence to manage change management and strategic alignment processes and put strategic management skills into practice through real-world business scenarios.

OPTIONAL MODULES (OPTIONAL TRAININGS)

Optional trainings are structured trainings that are not included in the core structure of the Leadership Development Program, yet are designed to develop additional leadership competencies and skills where participants have needs and areas for growth. The trainings required by the Service Recipient can be added to the core structure of the LDP (Leadership Development Program) as additional modules.
